How we help

We are a team of Geriatricians who are passionate about providing specialist care for those living on the Northern Beaches. We prioritise accessibility by visiting individuals at their residence, as well as offering remote telehealth consultations. We engage with individuals and their families to ensure comprehensive and holistic care is provided.

Our highly qualified team delivers thorough and compassionate care for complex medical conditions, management of cognitive disorders and other geriatric conditions such as delirium, falls and polypharmacy.

Meet The Team

Dr Monica Vu

BMedSci MBBS (Hons) FRACP

Dr Monica Vu is a consulting Geriatrician at the Northern Beaches Hospital. She is committed to patient advocacy. She has experience in a wide range of geriatric subspecialties, including psychogeriatric medicine, palliative care and acute medicine. Dr Vu is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.

Dr Vu manages all geriatric conditions, but has a particular interest in cognitive disorders including behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), polypharmacy and falls. She is currently completing a Masters in Dementia.

Dr Kate Djekovic

MBBS BPsych (Hons) FRACP

Dr Djekovic is a Staff Specialist Geriatrician at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame, Sydney and her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University.

Dr Djekovic’s particular interests include cognitive disorders and behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD), delirum, complex medical conditions and end of life care.
